The Weekend Recap Review Posting for July 06

Friday night at the club was really good with the renowned DJ Alex Hall that did Friday nights called "Fusion" in 2005 was really good, he left after a few months later, he was setting up tour gigs around Milwaukee area that kinda fell short and shy. He actually sat right by me and talked a bit thinking about coming back to the Club Inferno on Friday nights called "Bermuda Triangle", he was also talking about his gigs that he done all over hell and tarnation. Alex Hall plays a lot of good rocking techno like progressive, alternative, experimental, house, dark, and a shot of acid mixed in. He also has a few interesting web sites with his upcoming events and other info.
Before Leather & Lace on Saturday night, I spent some time looking for rivets or binding posts for my new boot harness that were made before my eyes Friday evening they popped out later, afterwards the leather shop was closed for the holiday weekend. I only found the supplies that was needed at Dorns Hardware and Home Depot, going to stock up on that stuff just in case and show the owner of the Leather shop the new idea. Saturday night for Leather & Lace was really kicking out the bad ass tunes, I was there early and found a place to park at the club because of Rhythm and Booms; I don't like the traffic, waiting for the bus for a long time going from the parking lot to the fireworks and back again, no place to park, and most crazy people. I later found out on the radio that Rhythm & Booms was cancelled around 8:30pm due to a nasty storm that hit really hard and rained like crazy for awhile, I was watching it brew up and letting loose til 9pm. The club was packed in around 10:30ish, I was dancing here and there a little while later, I also seen Jeff, the twinkle toed and light on his feet happy go lucky guy. I am slowly starting to admire those that dance non-stop for hours on end taking a short drink, bathroom break, and then dancing like a dervish on a hot summer night til the wee hours in the morning. I am slowly starting to work up to that, I was dancing for an half an hour straight and then a15-20 minute brake afterwards for the rest of the night. There were not to many people out on the road around 1:30am from Rhythm & Booms either. I have been thinking lately about actually taking some dancing classes locally around Monona, that's depends classes are priced out good monthly and squeeze in a time frame sometime after work, maybe they will let me spin a few of my Cd's that I listen to. Thats about wraps the weekend up, hope to sleep in Sunday...
