The Steampunk Rifle

Finished upgrading and retrofitting the lighted vacuum tubed steampunk rifle, it was a little challenging to take a couple photos with the living room light off.

Looking forward of going to the Halloween event Saturday night at the Crucible, with a full moon bonus point anything could and can happen...

Steampunk Rifle Part Two

The updated steampunk rifle with vintage vacuum tubes that light up, thank goodness for clear epoxy, I could add two more in front to replace the older plastic gemstones that are slowly turning yellow.

With a Halloween event coming up this weekend that I am contemplating going to, the steampunk rifle could be retrofitted with both vintage vacuum tubes just in time for the event.

Steampunk Rifle Part One

Reworking the steampunk rifle, that was made from ten years ago, started by upgrading it by adding and using vintage vacuum tubes that will light up when it's finished.

Plus its fun working on two projects at once and switching between them, a nice day to multitask on the birthday robot as well.

The Metal Art Toss up

The Birthday robot sneak peek preview with party horns.

This is going to be my first robot project to design, layout, and to work on..

It was a toss up between the birthday robot and the battle-mecha robot, the birthday robot won by having party horns and a string of Christmas lights that are battery operated as birthday balloons with him.

A nice weekend for reworking and contemplating outside the box when extraordinary things happen for a reason.

The Relliant NCC-1864 (The Lockiant version NCC-1864-L

The kicker that stared the afternoon after visiting the October Art Sale, using a Cannon Power Shot ELPH 300 HS digital camera and a Sony video/picture hand cam, the Cannon digital camera didn't like taking the rear of the ship the blue pen cap was blurry in every picture that was taken.

When you think that you are done with a silver soldering copper tubing project something else presents itself in the most unusual way.

Its not a bad thing when something gets your attention like your intuition, universe, and your higher self and shows you something completely different from the first design (Relate to post from 10-06-20)
Something else was shown to me to try out while grocery shopping entering Woodman's, silver solder a nail trimmer as a wing, as a test fit it looked a lot better compared to the printout picture.
I still have time left before winter sets in to finish this extraordinary project.
It does make a lot of sense with the month of October as the Veil grows thinner with visits from beyond, it can be a spooky month with lots of paranormal or supernatural energies around. (That's even if anyone believes in such things, open your 3rd eye and let your scenes flow.)

Future project

Sneak preview down the road, designing the first metal art robot for next year.

Most of the idea's that crop up come from Dr. Evermore Sculpture Park.
Designing and making art happens when you least expect it, a interesting journey of expressing creativity through infinite ways and infinite probabilities of starting and finishing a project.

Last minute touch up

Almost finished the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864
(The Lockiant version NCC-1864-L) a little more touching up here and there.

Not a bad build overall, moving at impulse speed out of from space dock Tango Sierra, surprisingly the lock still works.

The last silver soldering experimental project for the season.

Sneak peek at the U.S.S. Reliant NCC-1864 from Star Trek II Movie

Made from a picture, a lock, took apart a flash drive sanded it down, and copper tubes silver soldered together. The last project for fall and before winter.
More photos to come soon as when the project is finished.
