Taking A Drum Class Posting for April 07

It's been a long time since I made my first drum, I want to play it and give its own identity.
I have played it for a bit without any rhythm or beat what so ever.
I decided to take a drum class two days a week, Tuesdays & Thursdays out of my usual evenings at home and still have time to check e-mail and such afterwords.
This evening at Drums N' Moore, I meet the teacher and he began to teach me the basic heartbeat tempo and up five beats and back to the heartbeat, I have a little trouble with the 1 beat 3 beats in a row and back to one beat. I am having a lots of fun, the teacher has 15 years of experience with different types of drums, all I have to do is to focus a little more on my drumming and timing with a little rhythm behind it.
