Woods Poking 101 Posting for Sept 07

If you go out to nature or a park to hike or to meditate, be prepare for the elements of nature is the first general rule, pack a jacket if it gets cold, if there are camp fires allowed take some wood or look for it while you are walking in the woods. Learn where all the trails lead to and go around the park even if it's a small park. I like big parks such as Indian Lake that is far away from city lights and you can see more stars than in the city.
Evening and night time out in nature is one of the best times to go out to a park, if you have a few musical instruments such as a small drum, flute, didgeridoo, tambourine, etc to play around a small camp fire can be the most interesting event. Take a good digital camera to take pictures in the night and a flashlight just in case.
