April Showers Posting for April 2006

Today's Battle Tech Card is "Overwhelm"

When it rains it pours...
Well the day started as the usual stuck between worlds, somewhere in the dream world and the real world as the alarm goes off, hit the snooze button. as my mind said "Just a few more moments more." As the alarm goes off again dragging covers off the bed to embrace the new day, another nice day as it started out with the sun rise. Sleepily putting on clothes, putting a cup of water for tea in the microwave, throwing lunch together, combing my hair, and getting ready for work; Dragging my self off into the real world in a hazy daze is no fun, I like fall, winter, and spring really good sleeping weather for dreams to come and go as they please. If only I could remember and recall more dreams and enter them in my dream journal that lies on the night stand with a few entries in it. The drive to work wasn't to bad, not too many cars on the road early morning commute, the morning wake up music loud and hard techno beats can wake anyone up, just like coffee.
Mid afternoon lunch time starts with the outside, lots of birds come by to see what I have for them, they gaze hard at the Doritos hungrily, I throw a few chips there way and watch them in awe eating my offerings that I have left behind. It can really turn in to a feeding frenzy of feathers dancing about, some of the birds are chirping, fighting, and jumping around happily. I slowly drag my self off back to the indoors, wanting to stay outside more watching the birds with there fights of fancy. Time to punch in for more hassle from the head bosses, it really gets on my nerves when they ask "So, are you coming to work this Saturday?" I sometimes feel like saying back "I get enough of this so called prison 5 days a week and you want me to work one more, F*ck that sh*t." Work can be very stressful enough, I get the joy of working with someone that really thinks they know it all but doesn't know d*# k, doesn't know English that well, lacks common scene, and is a total work lackey. I have no idea why or how this guy even think that he's in charge of the department and runs it... ggggrrrrrr I still think that they really put the wrong person in my department, get your head out of your ass and get the right guy in here the first time... I miss the other dude that worked along with me, that moved to shipping and had a good head on his shoulder, he did try to transfer back, but however with the final interview he didn't make it.
That's it for now, reporting from the Western Front Lines Company 238th The Fighting Dragons.
