Funeral for a Feathered Friend

Last week, Wednesday I found a past away (not polite to say dead) male Cardinal on the steps around work, not to many people would do that. I knelt beside it and said "I'll take care of you." I found a small box around work and put it inside of the box and took it home to bury it at Indian Lake Park.


People these days would walk over, around, and or just say "yuck" if they found a dead bird or critter laying about in plain site.

Spring Fever

You know when it's getting closer to spring when the motorcycles are appearing on the road a little more each day, the geese and sand hill cranes are beginning to flock at the near by parks.
I had the urge to hit Indian Lake Park Friday evening and do a little scouting hiking about and then started a small fire on the good side of the fence and meditated on a few things, there was a point when it was silent for a bit, I even gave the bull roarer a twist. I look foreword when all the snow melts away and see some green grass growing.

Well for starter's, I started to make up more candles everyday till spring, that takes time to heat up the water, set the wick, and use some olive oil in taper mold, so far it has been slow going, with a candle sticking here and there. Time is vastly going by quickly and then by August the so called yahoo multiply takes affect replacing the yahoo 360 stuff. I should hit it hard again spend like three or four days hear and get some pictures posted with a few of my entries here and there.

Wine Tasting Journal First Entry

A very good cheap wine from Woodman's Grocery. I was looking for elderberry wine, however I found this one at the liquor side of Woodman's.
A good sweet taste with a little zing behind it.
Overall rating of 7 out of 10.
